For Hankow Protection

Hankow, Monday.-Extra police guards were on duty to-day fol- lowing an appeal by the British Consul-General, Mr. Gerald Stock- ley, to the Hankow garrison and police for adequate protection for Britons in Hankow. Mean- while, student sources said that several thousand students from Chunghwa, Wuhan and Hwang- chun Universities planned demon- strations.-A.P.
